What is the BETTERDATES COLLECTIVE?

The COLLECTIVE is a partnership between BETTERDATES and dating/relationship professionals. We serve as the marketing arm for coaching professionals seeking new clients.

In exchange, dating/relationship coaches share their expertise with our members by serving as facilitators.

The terms of the Partnership are outlined in the Partnership Agreement.

Do coaches get paid for facilitation of a session?

Yes.  Coaches receive a  $200 bonus for each session they facilitate. 

​

NOTE: The use of the word bonus refers to an incentive provided to independent contractors. It  does not imply an employment relationship nor entitle any independent contractors to employee benefits.

How do I change the Partnership Agreement?

To terminate OR extend the Partnership Agreement; submit a ‘written notice’ at lease 14 days prior to the end of the current Agreement.  Contact the BetterDatesTeam – hello@betterdates.org

PLEASE NOTE: The COLLECTIVE has the option to not renew a Partnership Agreement.

What about scheduling?

We offer flexible session dates and times.

How long is a coaching session?

A coaching session is typically 1 hour.

06.

What about wages, taxes, social security, etc.?

 Coaches who partner with BETTERDATES operate as independent contractors; typically under a 1099 tax classification.  For more information on this topic; consult with your financial advisor / accountant/ or tax professional

Is there an 'agenda' that each session should follow?

There is no 'formal' session agenda. However, the Team will offer suggestions to increase member engagement and a timeline to streamline the session.

What are the requirements to partner with The COLLECTIVE?

Coaches must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be licensed by a State Board or have valid Certification credentials to provide coaching

  2. Have at least two years of experience in dating/relationship coaching

  3. Have a reliable internet connection and a webcam

  4. Reside in the U.S.

  5. Pass a background check

How do I know if I'm accepted into The Collective?

The BETTERDATES team will send an email updating the status of your application. The application process may take 1-2 weeks. If accepted, the final step is the Coach Orientation (our on-boarding process)
